How Enrolments Work

At Coombs, we are here to support you through our enrolment process so you and your family feel welcome from the very start.

Your Enrolment Journey

We know starting care is a big step for your family. That’s why we’ve made the enrolment process as simple and transparent as possible. From your first enquiry to your child’s first day, our team is here to guide you, answer questions, and help your child feel comfortable and secure.

Submit Your Enquiry or Join the Waitlist

The first step is to fill out our enquiry form or join our waitlist online. This lets us learn more about your child, your preferred days, and any specific needs. We recommend joining the waitlist early, as places can fill quickly.

Book a Tour

We invite you to come and see our centre in person. During your tour, you’ll meet our educators, explore our learning spaces, and get a feel for our approach to early education. There’s no obligation—just an opportunity to see if we’re the right fit for your family.

Receive Your Offer

If we have availability, we’ll offer you a place for your preferred days. If no spots are open right away, your child will remain on our waitlist, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as a place becomes available.

Complete Your Enrolment

Once you accept your place, we’ll guide you through the paperwork. You’ll need to provide documents like your child’s birth certificate, immunisation records, and any relevant medical information. Our team can also help you understand and set up your Child Care Subsidy (CCS) if you’re eligible.

Orientation and Settling In

Before your child’s first official day, we’ll arrange an orientation visit to help them get comfortable in their new environment. This is a chance for your child to meet their educators, explore the rooms, and start building trust and familiarity. We’ll work with you to learn your child’s routines and make their transition as smooth as possible.

A Message from Our Centre Manager, Naomi

As Centre Manager, I’m here to support your family from your first enquiry. Choosing care is a big decision, and I’m always happy to answer your questions, talk about our programs, or show you around on a tour. My door is always open, and I look forward to meeting you soon.”
